Good way to waste cat’s energy
My cats needed a slow feeder and this one is great. It is easy to clean and cute. Cats choose it over other slow feeders that were more expensive.
My cat used to throw up because she eats way too fast, but after trying this out, she hasn't thrown up. I really like this feeder opposed to others I've bought because this one forces your cat to stick their paw into the hole and take the food out pebble by pebble. This really helps to slow them down. I'd 100% recommend this to anyone who has a cat that scarfs and barfs.
I bought this for some of the cats at the rescue I work at since they tend to eat too quickly. this has helped slow them down and it’s fun for them to forage for their food instead of just eating from a bowl. the suction cups are great so it doesn’t slide around while they’re eating and it’s easy to clean too!
My kitten scarfs his food like it's going to disappear. This has the perfect variety challenges to slow him down. The cups are siting on a slightly higher level than those "fins", so as my kitten fishes out the food with his paw, there's room on the dish for the food to fall on (as opposed to a slow feeder where the food needs to be knocked onto the floor first). A little complicated to wash, but worth it!

When I tell you, I have searched high and low for a slow feeder that’ll actually hold 4 cups of food and slow down my lab at the same time. If you have a large dog that eats a lot and you want them to slow down, THIS IS IT. I cannot talk more highly of this slow feeder! 100/10! It’s very sturdy, appealing, large and worth the money! I was so excited when I got it and saw it in person, it’s exactly as described and it slows my lab down so he takes about 10-12 minutes to fully eat. It also said on the box that it was environmentally friendly which is an added benefit for me. Get it!
Quality product and provides enrichment. My dog seems quite pleased and so do I. This doesn't feel cheap or janky. We order the lick mat too but have not used it. We have not tried this in the dishwasher and might not since it isn't plastic and don't want to accidentally melt the bowl. Worth the money in our opinion.
This slow feeder is perfect for my dog. It functions as expected and helps slow my dogs eating down. This bowl is a great size, i can add toppers and not run out of room. Bowl has grips on bottom so it is super stable even on hardwood floors.
I use this bowl all the time for slowing down my dog's eating, or when I want her to have some enrichment activity. It's easy to wash, the size is good (I have a big dog). All in all, I highly recommend!
We have tried snuffle mats, slow feeder inserts, and slow feeder bowls to slow down our whippet who does everything at top speed. This arrived a couple days ago and he is eating noticeably slower compared to anything else we've tried. Usually he's done by the time I'm back from dropping off his sister's food (with a slow feeder bowl), but yesterday I had to sit down and wait for him to finish eating! The size of the bowl is perfect for the raised stand we use, and feels well made. The insert that slows him down is actually pretty, and the spinning top piece is genius! I was hesitant to order with so few reviews, but I highly recommend this bowl!
My Rottweiler already had a slow feeder but he would still eat fast from it, but with this one, he really HAS to slow down to eat and get all the pieces! It slowed him down so much he even took a break in between eating, rather than finishing it in a minute lol
I have a Hoover for a dog. No lie, his dinner would be gone in 45 seconds flat. Now, he may be the last dog still eating (I have 3). The spinning bone I don’t even bother with, Finn just rips it off as soon as he eats the kibble out of it anyways. I’ve put it through the dishwasher a few times (top rack) and that does get it fairly clean, but I find washing it by hand is better. I may get another for one of my other dogs, not because he eats fast but he enjoys any type of puzzle and I do feel like this gives them some mental stimulation as well. Not the cheapest bowl but well worth it. I’ve had it for quite a few months now and it’s holding up just fine!
Our girl can speed-eat her way out of any maze bowl, no matter the pattern, with almost no effort. This is the only thing we’ve been able to find that works.8-10 minutes don’t seem like a long time, but when she usually finishes in 90 seconds, it’s freakin’ miracle!Also, we feed her a mix of fresh & wet food, so I can attest that it slows her down with both types of food equally.On top of that, it cleans like a dream.Run, don’t walk. Worth every penny.
I have a small dog, 18 lbs, but I ordered the larger bowl because the ridges in the small one appeared too shallow. I'm very glad I got the larger bowl because it slows him down a bit more. He takes at least three to four times longer to eat all his food and he hasn't thrown it up yet. Previously I had purchased a different brand with ridges and no top part. It was too shallow and my dog still managed to eat fast enough to throw up afterwards. This bowl does the job for my small dog.
Very pleased with this one - the 2 levels gives such enrichment and my dog absolutely loves it. The best part for me is that it all EASILY comes apart and can be put into the dishwasher. This is definitely my new to go food puzzle for my pup!
We have tried several slow-feed bowls for our large, mixed breed 3 year old dog, who can take down her dinner in 10 seconds usually! Some have helped a little, but she figures them out quickly and adapts to them. This one is amazing, and takes her about 15 minutes to finish, which is incredible. We love the variety of ways you can set it up, and our kids are having fun feeding her also. It’s well built and seems like it will last a long time. Definitely a big hit!
I’m really loving my dog’s new slow puzzle feeder! He had a different one before, but he figured out how to eat faster with it. Now, with this new puzzle feeder, it takes him about 15-20 minutes to finish his food. It’s so great to see him slow down and actually enjoy his meals! Plus, it keeps him mentally stimulated, which is a huge bonus. Seriously, I can’t believe I didn’t get this sooner!
This works great. My only complaint is that the bone in the center isn't a tight fit, so every time the dog licks it, it moves and makes a little noise. Not a big enough deal to deduct a star though. It is also super easy to take apart and wash.
I have Goldens who are notorious for eating fast, and basic slow feeders don’t slow them down much. This kept them busy for 20 mins with soft food in the bottom (yogurt, sweet potato, canned food) and kibble and veggies in the top. Very sturdy high quality materials, and simple to clean/dishwasher safe. Some of these require complex assembly and disassembly which means they don’t get used, but this one takes no time
Highly recommend this bowl to anyone looking to slow down their pup’s eating. Our 6 month old puppy was making herself sick from eating too quickly.
